Who We Are
An independent firm of Chartered Surveyors and Planning Consultants, established in Skipton in 2005 and operating throughout the North of England.
Our Story
WBW Surveyors was founded in 2005 by Chartered Surveyors Chris Windle, Michael Beech, and Adam Winthrop, from our base at Skipton Auction Mart on Gargrave Road. From a team of five at inception, the firm has grown to employ over 24 professionals, establishing itself as one of the leading independent surveying practices in the North of England.
Our growth has been built on a simple foundation: providing genuinely expert, honest, and impartial advice to clients across the full range of rural, commercial, and residential property disciplines. We cover everything from farm business services and agri-environment schemes — where we are recognised as the UK's largest single office firm dealing with BPS and Stewardship applications — to planning consultancy, land and estate management, property sales, and specialist professional services.
Being independent matters. We have no commercial ties to developers, lenders, or estate agents. Every opinion we give, every report we write, and every application we prepare is driven solely by our professional judgement and our commitment to our client's best interests.
